ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sheri Crockett is an author, spiritual teacher, and group facilitator with 30 years of experience. Before taking up her spiritual calling, she had a successful business career. Holding the Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America, and the Fellow of the Gemmological Association degree from Gem-A in the UK, she was a retail jeweler, gemstone buyer and appraiser, serving on the Board of Directors of both the American Gem Society, and the California Jewelers Association.  She was an occasional instructor at national industry conventions and a keynote speaker.

Like everyone, Sheri experienced some personal crises along the way. When divorce and becoming a single mother, changed her horizon, a turning point was reached. Determined to seek personal transformation she stepped into the spiritual world and found a path that brought comfort and guidance. As inner knowledge awakened she left the jewelry industry, studying and then teaching a range of spiritual subjects, working with clients as a consulting astrologer, founding a women’s spiritual center, and facilitating on-going women’s groups.

When inner guidance prompted her to undertake a twenty-year study of the hermetic tradition, a system to understand the subtle energy of gems and minerals that is grounded in principles of mineral science emerged. That work, along with continuing inner development allowed her to contact more than 400 different Angels and Ascended Masters, who helped her present the simple method described in Doors to Higher Consciousness to help others connect to their own inner network of angels and ascended masters. Sheri is a mother and grandmother who enjoys traveling to sacred sites and hiking.
