An angel who supports Trauma Healing
Healing trauma is a major topic of our time. The intensity of outer world events and the course of human evolution are triggering any remaining inner shadows so that they can be resolved. No one is exempted from the process. Each of us contributes to higher consciousness on this planet as we clear any troubling experiences from the past. Doing this inner work has also been a personal journey that helped me claim higher levels of consciousness.
The circumstances and symptoms of trauma vary among individuals, and there is not a one-size-fits-all method to heal them. It is a great blessing that there is wide access today to dedicated professionals from many fields, that provide help for healing trauma. I respect and recommend different books, programs and professional resources that come to my attention for those who are in such a healing process.
It is essential to give time and space for your own wisdom to guide you to those who can help you release buried emotions, strengthen personal boundaries, and revise outgrown patterns. As a result you can reframe your experience in an empowering way. Many different healing modalities acknowledge that the final stage of healing trauma occurs when in some way or ways, an individual begins to access the spiritual realm.
My experience, and that of others I know is that when trauma healing is embraced as part of a spiritual-evolutionary process, it can have a transformative and highly beneficial outcome. Through spiritual practice, it is possible to experience the higher Self, which can never be changed in any way, no matter what has been experienced through a physical body.
Why do we usually heal Childhood Trauma later in life?
When childhood trauma occurs, a child does not yet have the capacity to understand they are not at fault. Most parents do everything in their power to prevent it or help the child when troubling circumstances come to light. Yet some parents are not aware of what their child is experiencing and not all adults have an equal capacity to guide them toward help.
In the absence of adequate support systems, a child often takes on the magical belief that something in them is responsible. It is easy to see why shame, lack of self-worth, feelings of anxiety and distortions in understanding their essential innocence and lovableness, can result.
Without support, those reactions are too painful for a child to consciously bear and can become walled-off in the unconscious. Since mind, body, spirit, and emotions are connected, over time, the inner spirit begins to send distress signals – through various symptoms – just like the black box in a downed aircraft — so that we can turn attention to where help is needed.
Fortunately, any feelings, guilt, and compensating patterns can ultimately be resolved by lifting them up to the spiritual level. As we learn to do this, major leaps forward occur. This is just one of the reasons I included a chapter on Forgiveness, based on the teachings of A Course in Miracles in my book.
Which Masters and Angels support Trauma Healing
Experiencing the unconditional love and support extended by any of the ascended masters and angels is highly supportive to any healing process. Some of them are especially qualified to help with trauma. Mother Mary, who is included among the masters in my book, is a primary ally when healing anything relating to children. In addition, today I’d like to introduce an angel not in the book, who is sometimes known as Mercy. That name is appropriate for the type of help she extends.
Angel Mercy provides the emotional strength to look at our personality’s seeming brokenness without judging ourselves. She helps us bring self-compassion into the physical body, which is a skill that those who experienced childhood trauma have not learned (until we do).
Many disciplines today recognize that the body “records” the experiences of the physical senses in cellular memory. We may hold unconscious guilt for all we’ve experienced, unaware that this might show up as pain and distress in the body. Our body isn’t the cause of whatever we have experienced in human life, and it does no good to blame it. It’s simply a messenger, recording what may remain yet-unconscious within us.
When we ask for her help, Angel Mercy supports us to achieve a cellular release of guilt. She also helps us learn to recognize and arise from negative emotional patterns and thoughts about our physical body. Her healing support doesn’t ask us to assume a new identity based on any specific form of trauma. Instead, she guides us to release what is in the way, so that we can claim eternal essence as our senior Reality.
Each of walks through challenging frames in our life story, but no story reflects who we really are. Our divine blueprint never changes regardless of what we experienced through a body on a planet. We eternally remain exactly as we were Created by our Source. For this reason, the circumstances of trauma are far less important than how we use them to grow. When we clear the charges from our trauma story, we can gently lay that story down, no longer needed. Our vibration lifts and we claim it’s hidden gifts of transformation.
In some way, as we do the inner work, the body will respond – because it is being relieved of emotional and mental burdens it was never meant to carry. Not every condition can be completely transformed, because a deep healing journey can be for many reasons beyond our personality’s ability to grasp. However, working on the inner levels can have profound results. Unexpected gifts from the inner journey can appear and be claimed.
Calling in the presence of Angel Mercy
Angel Mercy can stand beside you as you do the release work in the emotional and physical body. She can help you unpack the unfelt feelings that may arise during your healing process. You can call on her while you work with various massage and other body-centered therapies, or when you are ready to move toward forgiveness.
Completing this inner work is essential preparation to build a container strong enough to receive yet-higher vibrational energies as you continue your spiritual journey. Like peeling back the layers of an onion, sometimes we do some work on this, and later find more coming up. There is an end to the process, and you owe it to yourself, to arrive there. Angel Mercy helps you call forth the emotional strength to do so.
For those who wish to work with the method outlined in my book, her symbol is that which is reflected in the Japanese cultural art known as Kintsugi. Visualize in meditation, a deep ocean-blue bowl (Pantone Blue 2745) which has been broken and it’s fragments rejoined by veins of gold resin. It might even have wave-like patterns decorating the interior.
The ocean-blue color with waves and the bowl shape itself are symbolic of the emotional body – the realm of feelings. Visualize this bowl, against a radiant white field when you begin your meditation, and then let the image go. The gold-healed bowl mirrors the unique beauty that comes forth in you, as you claim your wholeness. It is a beauty that is uniquely yours, born from your own wounding and healing journey, which results in your next-level expression of radiant beauty.
May you find divine support to help you claim the gifts of your healing journey!
