Divine Feminine Voices

Divine Feminine Voices

Doors to Higher Consciousness introduces some of the most well-known, and highly advanced female ascended masters from many traditions. Some of them served human development through a type of Priestess role. All along the  Qabalah Path of Gimel, are angels, and female masters who are dedicated to serve spiritual Source (and especially the Divine Feminine) by assisting women living today to claim our inner Priestess. Receiving their communications, can be very supportive!

The book includes four of the Gimel Priestess masters. One, known by various names, is sometimes simply called Lady of the Lake, who is part of King Arthur’s tradition. There is a Norse female master named Gefjun, who cleared the land for agriculture, in a magical way. There is Greek Ariadne, who is far more than a “jilted lover” abandoned after saving Theseus from the Minotaur. The fourth Gimel master included in the book is Miriam, sister to Moses, who features in the Bible. She was committed to spiritual teaching for women. Her outspoken ways resulted in serious pushback from male authority and resulted in her being disgraced. It wasn’t easy to be a female priestess in her time, and we owe her great thanks!

Beside these women are so many more! For those who are developing their own relationship with the Priestess, I will share four more of these female masters here. Several are from Celtic traditions, but I have been blessed by contact with others who are known from ancient Greece, and ancient Egypt. As always when I share my own experiences, I ask that you take what serves you, to claim your own next level of spiritual experience.

What does a priestess do?

A priestess may learn to conduct rituals and ceremonies used within her chosen tradition. She becomes wise about the nature of her own energy, and specifically learns what enhances it rather than depleting her reserves.  Her own development and healing naturally result in an internally sourced inner code of conduct that shapes her life.  Guided by the inner network of non-physical divine masters she learns to contact, she receives the resources (energy, vision, skills, and discipline) which allow her to fulfill her mission. Sometimes she  supports  spiritual development for others through teaching or a form of intuitive consulting or energy work. She combines intuitive ability and strong independent leadership. She becomes skilled at lifting her consciousness toward the highest dimensions, and then “bringing down” spiritual power into earthly experience. Some priestesses have remarkable ability while young, while others develop their strongest abilities during their crone years.

In human energy anatomy (the chakras) the path of Gimel parallels the central energy column of the spine, which allows consciousness to travel all the way up from Tiphareth, at the third chakra, passing through the lighter blues dimensions of the throat chakra, toward the violet centers of spiritual vision and higher wisdom, and eventually past the crown chakra and into the White Light over the human head. We can continue with development as long as we wish, gradually awakening the transpersonal chakras over the human head (chakras 8, 9, 10, 11, 12).  Priestess Masters achieved their own ascension at either Emotional, Mental or Spiritual development and can support us wherever their support is most helpful.

Acknowledging real-world challenges faced by Priestesses

While preparing to meet any of the female priestess masters, it is helpful to move past some of our glamorous notions about them. A few priestess held positions of great authority, serving temples in ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome. However, they do not reflect the majority.

From our comfortable modern perspective we can miss the rigors that such women experienced. Life enclosed even in a “permitted” temple wasn’t easy. Those who practiced their spiritual traditions without cultural approval had more serious life challenges to navigate. Even when one’s temple  was wild nature herself, women often had to be vigilant to avoid discovery. – which could have fatal consequences in certain times and cultures. Some of their means and methods for accessing higher dimensional reality were very demanding on the physical body

Ascended Master Priestesses who help us develop the Throat Chakra

At the throat chakra a woman learns to say what she means and mean what she says. She can hold matters in confidence when that is appropriate, turn away from gossip and develop authentic verbal responses that honor her truth. Honing the fifth chakra develops Intention, strengthens her ability to speak truth to power and/or use her voice to speak prayers, intone a sacred chant, sing hymns to raise spiritual energy, or tone to invoke higher spiritual forces. Individual expression of this development can develop into channeling higher wisdom. A woman might be called to hold a position of leadership, becoming a spokesperson that serves higher spiritual forces, teach a form of spiritual practice, or serve others as an intuitive healer or counselor.

Many human females have experienced situations where speaking truth was not welcomed, either in our human lifetime, or in other layers of our interdimensional soul journey. It is well-known that some women (and men) lost their lives for sharing what they Knew. Forgiveness (see: A Course in Miracles and Chapter 5 in Doors to Higher Consciousness) can clear any such experiences and restore optimal functioning.

Coventina – Celtic Priestess at Gimel, Throat Chakra, Emotional Level 2

A female Master known in Celtic traditions as Coventina, is very accessible and willing to help a woman develop her throat chakra. As I have experienced her, Coventina, (like Lady of the Lake), arises from a yet-more-ancient culture that was faithfully transmitted to us through Celtic sources. Her energy combines the power of fire and water, to burn through blocks in the emotional body, and then wash them out of one’s energy field, so that consciousness can rise higher in meditation. She also serves those who are completing physical life, helping cleanse any remaining issues held in the emotional body to facilitate a smooth transition.

To reach out to Coventina in meditation, visualize an altar made from large natural stones, which has been cleverly constructed so that a pure, natural stream of water cascades from behind, flowing over its stony surface, disappearing once again into a streambed, in the earth below. The color of the field of energy surrounding the altar should be a medium turquoise blue (Pantone 3125 C). This color reflects the Qabalah dimension of energy where she can be  met – and  where her energy works in human energy anatomy. Coventina can help cleanse your emotional body, at the throat chakra, as you extend forgiveness to any situation in which your voice was restricted. She can also join you while singing out loud in the shower!

Caer Ibormeith – Celtic Priestess at Gimel – Throat Chakra, Emotional Level 2

Caer Ibormeith, comes to our attention through the myths of Celtic Ireland (see: Oengus’ Dream). I have experienced her as a member of the Tuatha de Danaan, and as the lover who inspired a  state of brilliant illumination in Oengus mac Og (son of the Dagda).  In that myth, she annually assumes the form of a swan. This is a symbol of true spirit-flight, where consciousness rises beyond physical body awareness. She is a shape-shifter, who teaches us how to soar in the higher realms. As such she is quite fiery and stimulating. While higher energies cannot be fully communicated in words,  lyrical language provides an echo of what consciousness can experience.  I captured the following words from one contact with her consciousness.

“Caer Ibormeith awakens words of power, giving voice to ancient traditions that dissolve the veil of separation. Filling heart and mind with the fire of holy purpose, she is met in corridors of prophecy, pointing out the higher paths of Wisdom.

We salute you, guardian of power over human illusions, lighting blue torches of sound that carry us heavenward in our Quest. We remember secret rhapsodies in forgotten grottos, where women bathed in divine pools to purify and strengthen themselves.

Sharing words of Wonder that evoke realms of pure delight, we thank you, faithful sentinel, who guides awareness toward splendors beyond eye’s sight.”

You can invite Caer Ibormeith closer in consciousness by visualizing a white swan soaring heavenward, against a turquoise blue sky (same Pantone color as Coventina: 3125 C)

Gimel Priestess Masters who help at the 7th Chakra

Some women manifest their strongest abilities priestess abilities through the sixth to seventh chakras, rather than the throat chakra. As spiritual development unfolds they may begin to see spiritual Realities, through the visionary subtle senses. They may become directly aware of non-physical beings, including angels and masters, and develop the ability to work with those beings and share their visions with others in an appropriate setting. Celtic Angel Lavender (a Yin angel) and Celtic Adsulata can be met on the path of Gimel, Emotional Level 2, helping us open the 7th chakra. Continuing with the lyrical form of communication I’ve received:

To Angel Lavender, whose gentle light awakens higher awareness with an infusion of feminine strength.

To Celtic Adsullata, whose memory calls us to honor the female path to the divine. Worshipped at sacred river temples where Light infuses consciousness with precious feminine currents that heal the challenges of the earthly journey.

To all the vast network of priestesses whose voices whisper through the veils of time. You whose ancient vows can guide our path, teaching us to transform our homes into corridors of light. Accessing sacred knowledge to help our family and culture claim a new level of access to the Divine. Awakening our own commitment to touch the hem of Eternity, while still in physical form, you help us greet each day with strength and beauty, grateful for the opportunities that can be accessed through a female body,

All honor be to Thee, thou teachers of Feminine Mysteries sublime

Symbols and Colors for Angel Lavender and Adsullata

The suggested meditation symbol I was given to to call Angel Lavender closer (Gimel Emotional Level 2) is to visualize the simple outline of a heart, enclosing a visionary eye, against a medium tone violet background (Pantone #6565d0). Angel lavender reminds us that when we See, while in touch with the truth of divine Love, we will receive clear visions.

Adsullata, communicated that she was a priestess who lived in what is today known as the European Continental area, in pre-Christian times. Her memory was preserved in Celtic tradition, where she was known in Gaul, and surrounding areas. While scant archaeological evidence for her exists (and I am aware that others express her correspondence differently) she has come into consciousness on multiple occasions, making her name and presence very clear. In ancient periods, rivers were typically associated with a goddess. Very simple structures, created at a natural river crossing, amidst forested lands, became sites for votive offerings. Rivers, in general, like other natural waters are symbols of female energy.

To call upon Adsullata (Gimel Emotional Level 2) visualize an ancient rustic wooden structure crossing a small stream. As the stream comes toward your point of observation, you can observe that it’s course rises gently upwards and disappears from your sight into Infinity. Let the water appear in the same color as the field used for Angel Lavender (blue-violet Pantone #6565d0.) Gradually let the image go, as it gently lifts your consciousness toward the higher realms.

Every woman contains a spark of the Priestess and can find a path to develop her innate abilities through her favorite form of spiritual practice.
